Experience
Initially John trained with Poncet Turrettini where he practiced international criminal assistance under the guidance of Prof. Dominique Poncet, a strong proponent of modern Swiss criminal assistance law.
He pursued his education at Lalive where he practiced international arbitration under the guidance of Prof. Pierre Lalive, a respected international lawyer and the drafter of the universally acclaimed Swiss law on private international law.
Taking advantage of this background he established his practice in China where he eventually became, and still is, Counsel at Global Law Office, the first Chinese law firm to be licensed after the Opening of the late ’80s.
He also acted several years as Chairman of the Sino-Swiss Chamber of Commerce in China, namely, during the 2008 Olympics.
After then years in China he settled back in Switzerland and joined Meyerlustenberger Lachenal, at large Swiss law firm, for another five years.
He eventually founded his own law firm in Geneva in 2019.
